Platinum Charities (PC) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to empowering families and motivating at-risk youth from underserved communities. Throughout his NFL career, Platinum Charities founder, Mike “Scooter” McGruder, has championed programs committed to initiating life-changing opportunities that lift many youth and families out of poverty. Platinum Charities strives to:

• Raise money to fund scholarships for “need-based” students that have a desire to further their education;
• Provide free football camps that motivate and empower our youth on and off the field;
• Provide a positive impact on elementary schools through various literacy initiatives;
• Aid domestically abused women with children who are coming out of shelters with down payment assistance or low-to-free lease option in each of the 32 NFL cities.

Inspired by his personal understanding of the inner city challenges facing today’s youth, Platinum Charities provides positive change to well-deserving individuals and families throughout the country. Platinum Charities understands that our youth are the world’s most valuable resource and they are undeniably the best hope for our future.
